Age of Union is tech leader and environmental activist Dax Dasilva's environmental alliance. With a pledge of $40 million in five countries, the alliance needed a website that could support a global community of changemakers working on-the-ground to protect the planet's threatened ecosystems.

The team at Baillat Studio approaches projects with intuition, emotion, and a willingness to experiment, allowing them to push boundaries and create the stunning work they are known for.
Since 1987, SOS violence conjugale has been at the service of victims of intimate partner violence and people affected by this issue. This non-profit organization offers free, bilingual, anonymous and confidential referral services and welcomes, evaluates, informs, sensitizes and supports victims and their children, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can provide direct access to information, support or shelter. As the agency is sensitive to this issue, it was natural to collaborate with this organization on a new online tool to support victims, families, and friends on their path.

SOS Violence Conjugale has been serving victims of domestic violence anonymously and free of charge since 1987. With its new campaign, the organization wanted to create an interactive experience that educates young people about a more insidious form of domestic violence, hidden in text message communications.

To celebrate its arrival in the USA and its unstoppable expansion, the brand needed a colourful website to establish its online presence and influence over the thrift-shop industry and the fashion world.
For the 2022 ADCC Awards, the Advertising & Design Club of Canada approached us and Baillat to create a website for their call for entries. The campaign “Connecting the Dots” brought you to a playful and trippy website that invited users to discover how to connect the dots through a little roulette game. The goal of the ADCC Awards is to recognize and award Canada’s best creative work in Advertising, Design and Interactive.
My Better Normal was a positive social experience conceived and created by Nova Film and Locomotive. It consisted of a short film and personal digital time capsule, where everyone was invited to make a private resolution and send it into the future via cyberspace. Then, on October 1, 2021, it would come back to you and you could revisit what inpired your resolution.
In collaboration with Rogue Studio, Locomotive launched a website, Instagram account, and seasonal newsletter campaign based on album and beer pairings. An excellent opportunity to promote local products and independent artists, while being part of a high-quality content project. The website presented pairings matched by category, with a complete article for each pairing and an "audio reader" to listen to selected albums.
Locomotive collaborated with the creative agency Born&Bred to create a fun, minimalist and functional digital world, with an emphasis on the storytelling and aesthetics of the San Francisco agency. The website evolves around a portfolio of projects and a talent-driven approach that forms a team on a human scale.
Equestrian Canada (EC) is the national governing body for equestrian sport and industry in Canada, with a mandate to represent, promote and advance all equine and equestrian interests. With over 18,000 sports licence holders and 90,000 registered participants, EC needed a powerful website to share news, programs and events with a lot of people.
Locomotive was chosen to take charge of digital strategy, art direction and implementing technology for reservations and payment processing. We also filmed exclusive content to make the user travel before his departure. Locomotive used Charcoal technology and created a personalized system making it all possible, allowing the administrator to facilitate daily logistics and increase business intelligence.
Quebec maple producers (PPAQ) promote the Érable du Québec brand locally and to coordinate efforts to promote maple products internationally. Locomotive redesigned the website to present a greater number of recipes, an effective search engine to filter through the many successful recipes, and many other possibilities such as categories, themes, the presentation of the Maple Ambassadors, different missions of the FPAQ, and much more.
The city of Mirabel needed a redesign of its website, so Locomotive proposed a new site map, a renewed design and the integration of powerful digital tools, such as a calendar, an interactive map and an advanced search tool. A vision strongly supported by the implementation of Charcoal CMS technology, an open-source content management system developed by Locomotive specifically for cities and government agencies.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has been recording all seismic activity across the globe since 1970 and Moment Zero is an immersive experience into this data. The data was extracted from the USGS web-based earthquake catalogue by using their API, and a simple framework-only Charcoal implementation runs behind the scenes to feed the custom dataset to the user interface.
Infini’s brand was sculpted from scratch. Beginning with the pillars of look & fell, Locomotive crafted the logotype and built the design system. Building a website that showcases the granite and exotic stone collection, the second mandate, Locomotive ensured customers could add products to their list of favourites, making it easier for distributors to take orders. A user can also easily find a specific product name, colour or number thanks to an intelligent search engine.
The city of Rivière-du-Loup needed a complete redesign of their online portal. This tourist city required a more efficient website to facilitate access to services and better inform residents, business people and tourists alike. Locomotive was actively involved in the project by proposing an optimization of the site architecture and building an online portal at the cutting edge of technology.
Rugby Canada’s rebrand resulted from extensive research to better understand rugby’s position in the Canadian market. Locomotive then designed and developed the website to help bring Rugby Canada’s digital presence to the next level. The goal was to evolve the brand and the core pillars of what the sport means to the current rugby community and new potential fans and athletes.
The city of Saint-Constant wanted to revolutionize online research in the municipal field. Locomotive capitalized on the actual brand image of the city by creating a highly accessible and functional citizen portal, whose design is based on a simple grid, typography and solid color. The team also supported the communications of the city in its content strategy.
Following a recent brand identity overhaul, the TILT website was used to strengthen the brand itself as well showcasing the agency’s creative side and process for both potential and actual clients. The user experience revolved around the agency’s core business, storytelling, and Locomotive’s own content management system, Charcoal CMS, allowed site administrators to easily add stories and projects.
U SPORTS oversees all Canadian university sports. The website created by Locomotive brought together all the news on Canadian university sports, from 21 disciplines, and includes a calendar, all competition results, statistics, athlete cards, feature articles and resources for members and universities.
Val-d'Or is home to a unique culture and enjoys an economy based on resources and the service industry. Relying on its extensive municipal experience, Locomotive hired a local photographer to create exclusive content for a new city portal. A wide array of tools, practical information, news, events and an interactive map of the city were made easy to manage by Val d’Or city administrators
Volleyball Canada mandated Locomotive to realign their content strategy and build a new website aggregating all VC information, including news, competitions, events, player profiles, statistics and results, all under one roof. Locomotive created an engaging fan user-experience while building a robust CMS-driven engine that manages all the content on the new platform, even including live results and an API for stats.
